I am an educational leader and life-long learner with a passion for instruction and curriculum design. As a Curriculum Development Specialist and Policy Analyst with the Baltimore Police Department, my roles are vast, complex, and above all rewarding. Such roles include comprehensive lesson planning and development, collaborating with training officers, observing and evaluating instruction, as well as teaching, evaluating, and organizing the 5-Day MPCTC Basic Instructor Course four times a year. In July of 2022, I was awarded a Unit Citation, Commendation Certificate, and a Special Certificate of Recognition for my involvement in the development and implementation of training curriculum for Ethical Policing is Courageous (EPIC). Prior to starting my career with the Baltimore Police Department, I was an elementary teacher for 11 years. In 2014, I was nominated for Teacher of the Year. I was soon promoted to Assistant Principal, where I served in this role for 2 years. To expand my range and capacity, I became an adjunct Professor at Towson University, specializing in special education.
