About Dawn Schippe, Pg
I am a Professional Geologist registered in Wyoming with a dual background in economic geology and geological engineering. After taking several years off to raise a family and volunteer, I rejoined the mining world as an independent consultant and am open to all Denver-based or remote opportunities in exploration or mine geology. My strengths are mineral exploration and operational mine geology, with emphasis on designing, permitting, supervising, and analyzing results for drilling and sampling programs. Recent work includes Due Diligence studies and database creation/validation, and I am also experienced with hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering, and mine reconciliation. The majority of my commodity experience is in uranium, copper-gold, aggregate, and industrial minerals in both North America and Australia, specializing in in-situ recovery (ISR) and underground block caving mining styles. My roles have included working both independently and with interdisciplinary teams, problem solving and delivering on-time solutions, managing budgets, and effectively communicating with management, regulators, and production crews.
Listed skills include Geological Mapping, Mineral Exploration, Geology, Sampling, and 13 others.
