I was responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts with suppliers that will deliver the maximum value to the organization. Communicate and disseminate the contract status information, terms, and conditions to management. I researched suppliers and manufacturers, determined their market position, and assessed value propositions to identify strategic partnerships. Collaborated cross-functionally with leadership to process RFP’s, organize quotes, and managed bids that will deliver cost-effective solutions, exceptional value, and end-user satisfaction. Presented project status reports, financial updates, sourcing strategies, and implementation plans to key stakeholders. Continually monitored economic conditions, market trends, and environment change to adapt to any shifts. Instituted risk mitigation strategies while maintaining product portfolio catalog accuracy. Administered and overseen budgets that adhered to strict corporate pricing structures. Validated new product requests with Value Analysis, Surgical, and Revenue Departments. Key Achievements:• Served as a key member of the Value Analysis team as the manager of a $95 Million-dollar Peri-Operative budget for a Health System consisting of 7 Hospitals and 4 Surgery Centers.• Achieved $3.4M in savings, exceeding annual cost reduction goal by more than 40%.• Instituted standardized contract renewal and compliance procedures to ensure regulations are followed, status, terms, and conditions are reviewed before expiration, and proper negotiation ensues when necessary.• Developed and implemented a rolling three- to five-year sourcing strategy and cost-optimized materials delivery pipeline.

Role Accountabilities Included:• Researched, categorized, and presented supply options to the Group Purchasing Organization, detailing the quality, price, product standards, and availability. • Managed inventory, tracked deliveries, processed change orders, confirmed supply details with vendors, resolved price or stock disputes, and facilitated returns. • Processed, cataloged, and verified the accuracy of new products and vendors in collaboration with the Contract Administrators.

I designed the financial management, supply chain strategy, shipping logistics, and sales planning for all assigned accounts. Determined daily “Gift with Purchase” goals for designated locations.
