My past career choices have always lead me to public service my entire life, so why change now. In retirement, I started looking ahead to see where I could be a service to others and add value because there is nothing more fulfilling than having the opportunity to improve other people’s lives. I was introduced to an organization that assist people in personal development, financial literacy and leadership skills. The more I learned, the better I became dealing with people not only in the workplace, but my family and friends as well. I guess there is no surprise that I am now involved with this organization which rewards me for helping people reach their potentials and setting them up with the tools they need to succeed.After I retired from the Fire Department, I started focusing on my passion to serve and the love of learning by supporting any organization that would like to pass on these leadership skills to their members.
