My job is to tell amazing stories about remarkable people. I want the world to know how Black businesses are leading the technology industry and are ready to connect with American companies on a meaningful level. Those businesses will put the Black community forward from poverty to prosperity.

Each morning I get to help the people of Minnesota wake up and start their day on the right note! What a big and fun responsibility. I started working at Fox 9 in September of 2006. As the night side reporter I gathered compelling news to deliver each night. In April of 2010 I was promoted to morning anchor. Now, I get to have the best of both worlds by anchoring and reporting Monday through Friday. I write and read the most important news each morning starting at 4:30am. Plus, I'm not your typical morning anchor. I get to use my creative skills each day and write business and consumer stories that impact everyone sitting at home watching. I also write teases to make sure viewers stay engaged. You may see me out doing special live shots and interviewing folks in the studio about issues that are important to the community. When it comes to passion, I love sharing stories about organizations that help educate young people in Minnesota.

I was the Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WISC-TV for four years. It was great working in Madison! I worked at the number one rated tv station and had a great group of journalist surrounding me. I was able to interview people each day and share their stories with thousands of people each evening. I learned public speaking skills as the emcee for several events, specifically, breast cancer awareness. I led a team of reporters and photographers on the weekend and co-produced many of the shows. I learned to take complex issues and present them in a concise, inspirational way to our audience.
