Responsible for UX strategic planning, design and implementation across the information technology environment at Fresno State. Collaborating as part of the Technology Services Architecture Group to strategically and holistically plan and implement an integrated and highly effective user experience. Proactive evaluation of new and existing information technology systems, apps and websites. Conducting user experience and usability research and analysis in order to design, develop and document best practice solutions to deliver an overall exceptional user experience to the campus.

Primary duties include managing a team of four who oversee all campus web support including site design/development, technical support, and training. Oversee the design, ongoing development and support of the campus Web presence at www.fresnostate.edu, as well as the campus news site at www.fresnostatenews.com, magazine site at www.fresnostate.edu/magazine, as well as the directory, map, catalog, Google Search Appliance and analytics, accessibility compliance and ~300 public-facing websites managed under a central Web Content Management System (OU Campus by Omni Update). Web sub-committee chair of Accessible Technology Initiative, committee member on 2012 IT Strategic Plan, past committee member on President’s Committee on Disabilities. Major accomplishments include migrating HTML/CSS-based campus websites to centralized WCSM, design of dynamic, responsive academic catalog, the migration of all WCMS websites to a responsive format, creating Writing for the Web curriculum and implementing a student-oriented information architecture on major sites across campus.

Taught Advanced Web Design for Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences in the Craig School of Business.
