About Dawn Weaver

My desire to solve problems and help others has driven me throughout my life and career. I became a trusted advisor by focusing on providing solutions to meet the needs of my customers. Although most of my experience is in higher education, technology has been an integral part and something that I have embraced. While employed at Grace College, I furthered my education through technology courses. I discovered through my classes that I have an affinity for technology, and it allowed me to tap into my analytical side.I moved into a sales role with Student Loan Xpress. There I was introduced to Salesforce and found out firsthand how leveraging this technology could help me not only meet my sales goals but exceed them.Now fast forward to the present day. I am working at Ivy Tech Community College, and I hear that Salesforce is offering the Pathfinder program to Ivy Tech students. Instantly, I knew this was my opportunity and one that does not come around often. Even though it has been a few years since I took those technology courses, my passion and desire to be in a technology role never went away. I saw this as the perfect way to develop skills and knowledge around the Salesforce platform and to launch me into the Salesforce ecosystem.To do this right, I would need to immerse myself in Salesforce. I worked diligently to complete the Pathfinder program, received my Administrator Certification, and became a Trailhead Ranger, but I didn't stop there. To continue my Salesforce learning, I have earned two additional Salesforce certifications and achieved Trailhead Ranger rank two more times. Now I am looking to translate my service orientation and people skills into a Salesforce Administrator career. I am seeking opportunities that will allow me to develop further as a Salesforce Administrator and pursue my passion for helping others through technology.
