I teach leadership development and executive education courses such as "Leading with Presence using Storytelling." I work on-site for Harvard Business School's Executive Education programs such as HPLP (High Potentials Leadership Program), PLD (Program for Leadership Development), and GMP (General Management Program). I train teams at large governmental organizations such as Tennessee Valley Authority and the CIA/Leidos. For large corporations such as Procter & Gamble and MathWorks, I teach courses such as "Writing for Results," "Creating Powerful Presentations," and "Managing Difficult Conversations." I also teach some of these courses virtually.I also coach participants during and after these sessions.

I run a local divorce support group called "Love After Divorce." I'm a certified life and relationship coach and it's how I give back to the community.

I was "Sue Squatch" on "The Afternoon Joyride" from 2 - 7 PM. I produced my own show everyday which was always fun - and challenging. I tried to figure out what people were talking about around the water cooler, so to speak. I was also the promotions manager. I did a lot with concert promotion, our station, and our advertising clients. It made me happy when we delivered customers to a local business. I was an idea woman! Once we came up with the promotion, I'm the one who wrote that recorded promo you heard; the one about the fun prize we are giving away and how you can win it! I was also the master organizer. And, to keep things fresh for our radio cluster, I did voice talent for sister radio stations.

In my final semester at PSU, I taught "Business Writing" with an entrepreneurial focus as students created startups. As part of the creation of the business plans, I guided survey design for market research projects. We also worked on resume/cover letter projects and I advised in the creation of video resumes. A majority of students achieved high final scores.I've taught other classes in the English department, such as "Writing in the Social Sciences." There, I trained students to write literature reviews and lengthy research papers. In a class called "Rhetoric and Composition," I illustrated ways to create persuasive messages and demonstrated how persuasive messages work. My favorite assignment was the memoir. Many students were invited to post their memoirs to my public blog.I achieved high SRTE scores every semester from my students; average of 6 on 7-point scale.

Upward Bound at Penn State: I taught this course for two summers. For one course, I created a class called "Advertising Guru Workshop." I had students in small groups work through creating storyboards for a TV spot. Upward Bound is a six-week summer session that exposes students who attend underperforming high schools to college life. The other course was called "Talk Radio." In that one, we worked with writing and speaking while having fun with the radio and advertising format.

I launched the morning show with "Boss Frog" back in 2008 and stayed for a few years while I was working on my Master's. I co-produced this morning show and wrote the daily newscast which was also used by other Forever Broadcasting stations. I interviewed local members of the community on-air, as well as, country music celebrities. I produced specific segments of the show, such as "Nashville News" and "Ann Phibian's Fib or Fact." I managed the station's Facebook page and blog. (I was also "Jane Zee" on Lite 99 back in 2005. Funny story: I went into the radio station group to talk about my heart attack for "Go Red For Women Day" and they offered me a job. That's how I got into radio!)

I started this company while staying at home with my kids. I worked with small businesses as their media buyer and copywriter. I bought space in newspapers, radio, and billboards. I designed and wrote their newsletters, radio spots, newspaper ads, and billboards. In the St. Louis area, I spent many years working for New Balance shoes, retail, and physician groups.

I managed a substantial advertising budget as the media buyer and wrote all the advertising for print, outdoor, TV, and radio. I organized on-site promotions for thousands of patrons.
