I have had the opportunity to be in banking since 2012, right after I left the Navy. I started as a Banker and found that I had a love for Home Lending. As a supervisor for my department I had the ability to create our training and development program from the ground up with the leadership team. I found I had a passion for training and mentoring my team with development and research into policy, regulations and requirements. I worked to create a culture of positivity and efficiency using tracking to achieve our department goals.I believe my previous experience and personal qualities would make me agreat fit for a successful team. My communication skills allow me to effectively assessthe needs of clients and develop tailored solutions to their problems. Manytimes picking up the phone and calling to discuss possible options to ensure everyone was on the same page and understood the programs and projects.Additionally, my eye for detail helps me find areas where we can work betterto meet customer needs and expectations. This improved our partnerships with other departments and divisions in the company. This increased internal satisfaction with the Closing and Funding department greatly.I was the chairperson of my previous employers Military Associate Group and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council. I was able to work to bring about change with company wide training, webinars and articles. Using organizational development activities within a large company to see results and employee satisfaction increase.
