Senior Financial Accountant

- Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standard.- Manage month-end and year-end closing- Assist, maintain and analyze budgets, forecast, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted versus Actual and the reasons of variances.- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records - Assist in External/Internal auditors and prepares audit schedules for them and acts as a liaison between the company and auditors. - Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation).- Calculates and enters monthly contract item accruals such as janitorial, security and utility expenses to match expenses to period incurred, and review trial balance for reversing of same entries in next accounting period.- Prepares security deposit refund.- Analyzing invoice and expense reports and recording entries- All payments relating to Operations, Marketing, Legal & any such incidentals that may occur from time to time.- Reviews accounts receivable aging for delinquencies.- Verifies customer/vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions- Ensures that all property and tenant information is up to date and correct through lease interpretation and cross-referencing against other property information- Abstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents (retails and office leases, brokerage agreement, management contracts, amendments and etc.)- Informs management as to any discrepancies or any other problem areas that may exist- Establish accounting policies and procedures aligned with company’s targets
