Following Qualcomm's acquisition of Atheros, I was invited to lead the company through the transition and integration of the two firms'​ brand personalities and product identities / strategies. I also played a key role in helping the company maintain strong business momentum through the transition and beyond by ensuring effective positioning and continuity of marketing efforts, materials and campaigns.Select Highlights: ✔ Manage all facets of Qualcomm's creative services, including trade show and web development & implementation and social media marketing campaigns.✔ Redesigned the Atheros website to fit the Qualcomm aesthetic integration, while collaborating with the corporate web team to create the new and unified qualcomm.com.✔ Managed the integration and preserved the integrity of strong technology brands like Qualcomm® VIVE™, Qualcomm® StreamBoost™, and Qualcomm® IZat™ into the larger corporate lexicon.✔ Developed strategy, positioning, and messaging platform for a variety of digital content and storytelling assets, including the Qualcomm Digital Home interactive experience and the Qualcomm StreamBoost Interactive web experience, focusing on customer ease of use and scalability.✔ Connected and streamlined the global Internet of Everything (IoE) messaging platform within the scope of Qualcomm’s existing and emerging technologies for digital assets, trade shows, and other external communications.✔ Direct the activities of up to five agencies, concurrently, in order to deliver visual assets to support the various businesses within Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. within budget and deadlines. Also partner with agency partners to create impactful, ROI-generating integrated marketing campaigns.

I was recruited by a former colleague to join what was then a young tech startup. I first served as an events coordinator then promoted into an evolutionary marketing leadership role. Here, I was instrumental in cultivating Atheros’ corporate and product portfolio brands, globally, including its market-leading Wi-Fi products from an early start-up company, through IPO, to acquisition. Select Highlights: ✔ Played a key role in the successful launch and rebranding of Atheros Communications, Inc., including all aspects of visual asset re-creation (e.g. web redesign and updating all marketing collateral). Worked with all regions for a simultaneous global launch of the new corporate brand.✔ Established brands for all versions of Atheros Wi-Fi, Hybrid, and Ethernet technologies, positioning Atheros ahead of a crowded wireless network technology space by differentiating our products as a premium solution.✔ Took over administration of Atheros' corporate website after internal reorganization, managing all creative and technical aspects, content publishing, and site aesthetics/ tonality.✔ Organized 10+ trade shows and a global sales conference each year, developing and presenting themes, design and scope, then managing logistics, production, housing, securing vendors, and onsite support.

I was brought in to build brand programs for the licensing team, including co-marketing programs with PalmSource licensees. Select Highlights: ✔ Strategized to reinforce the Palm brand across a growing ecosystem of client devices beyond our own branded devices.✔ Built and manage the brand licensing terms and agreements, working collaboratively with PalmSource licensing, legal and marketing teams ✔ Partnered with licensees to help build the Palm brand and support their marketing efforts with creative, brand and event-related support.
