As the Field Recruiting Specialist for Guardian Life Insurance, I was responsible for working with 40 of Guardian's agencies in the Midwest and West Coast.With these agencies, I helped develop recruiting and development platforms for each agency. I worked with senior level management from each agency to put these programs and plans into action.

I took this position as a "job", never realizing it would lead me to my "career". I was a sports management major and had no idea about finances. But, after seeing the impact this career has on the lives of others, I now realize this was my "calling" and a career/industry I will never leave.

With the 12th Man Foundation, I was responsible for making sure all donor payments were received, processed, and paid. During my time with the 12th Man, I was able to see all levels of planned giving and just how important these gifts are to the university and the athletic programs they serve.
