Senior subject matter expert supporting United States Army Program Executive Office Aviation, Program Executive Office Missiles and Space, Army Materiel Command LOGSA, and Army Aviation and Missile Research and Development Command. Responsible for providing industry leading information assurance (IA), security engineering, and certification and accreditation management, knowledge, and techniques. Responsible for the creation of DoD IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) packages, Tenant Security Plans (TSP), and Special Access Program (SAP) packages, as well as implementation of plans and procedures (e.g., incident handling, disaster recovery, continuity of operations) at the enterprise and tactical levels. Environment of responsibility spans 150+ servers (Windows 2003, 2008, Red Hat Linux, Solaris), 5000+ workstations (Windows XP, Vista, Red Hat Linux, Solaris) across multiple levels of classification. Provided IA support and project management to assist customers in combating computer crime and criminal activity while achieving compliance with DoD and Missile Defense Agency requirements. Responsible for hardening and sustaining security postures through the program life cycle in an information systems security engineering role, requiring in-depth knowledge of U.S. government IA regulations, certification and accreditation requirements, and creation of effective policies and procedures. Required constant training and education on rapidly changing technologies and evolving guidance documentation.
