I am an employment specialist covering all aspects of employment law for both employers and employees.As Head of the Employment Team at Battens , I provide full support to businesses of all sizes, across a wide range of sectors. Topics include disciplinary and grievance processes, managing sickness absences, drawing up contracts and employment procedures and preparing compromise agreements. I also have extensive experience in advising on TUPE matters, business reorganisations and redundancies. Over the past 20 years, I have frequently represented clients (Claimant's and Respondents) in the Employment Tribunal dealing with all types of discrimination, whistle blowing and equal pay as well as unfair and constructive unfair dismissal. In addition, I provide training sessions and conduct seminars on topical employment issues. I can provide bespoke training to Employers, tailored to their specific needs.
