Office Manager for a busy engineering company based in Silverstone proving support to all staff.Duties included;- Bookkeeping and Managing invoices using Sage one- Liaising with clients, sub-contractors and third parties. - Purchasing, raising purchase orders, obtaining quotes and liaising with suppliers- Office Support, Checking and ordering supplies such as stationery and consumables- Health and Safety, organising servicing and testing of fire alarms and extinguishers, first aid kits and making sure health and safety procedures were up to date.- General admin such as attending meetings, email management and diary management. Organising files and folders using Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word and Excel.- Marketing - updating the company website, photographing products for promotional material and producing leaflets and marketing material using Adobe illustrator.

Events Manager and Administrator for Swan Teaching School, I organise training events and subject network meetings for teachers and school support staff. The role involves everything from organising venues and caterers to booking participants onto courses. Administration tasks include preparing marketing information, course registers, training material, evaluations and attendence statistics. I have recently completed a project to launch a new website for the teaching school where participants can view course information online and book using an online booking system. I have also written training documentatation and have trained other staff members in how to use the new system to upload course information. I have also been heavily involved in making sure the new GDPR guidelines are followed and that we are compliant.

Flybrid Automotive was a small engineering company based at Silverstone Circuit.I worked as Office Manger providing admin support to all areas of the business. I reported to the Business Development Manager and managed all aspects of running a busy office which involved meeting and greeting clients, providing refreshments for meetings where required and ordering catering supplies.I assisted the Technical buyer ordering inventory items, raising purchase orders on ERP system Epicor and I also chased deliveries and liased with suppliers.I was repsonsible for facilities, arranging maintainence and repairs to the building, ensuring service visit took place and logging these. I was also responsible for health and safety onsite and arranged workwear, safety shoes and training for staff.Part of my role was assiting the Marketing Manager taking promo photos and updating the company website and helping with events and conferences.I also booked travel for the Team arranging flights, hotels, hire cars, parking and visas where neccessary.
