Managed a team of 4 recruiters and 4 sales managers. Started PDS with 6 consultants and grew the business up to 150 people on contracting assignments throughout the valley. I was the only Recruiter for the first 2 years until I moved in to a Lead Recruiter role in 2005. Permanent placements were 15+ a year and contractors varied from 50-100 a year. My management responsibilities included managing internal recruiters, processes and procedures. Responsibilities included networking, job fairs, internal and external job postings, internet sourcing, internal sourcing with Maxhire Recruiting CRM tool, building relationships, candidate screening, client and management interactions including account development, interviewing and scheduling interviews, salary negotiations, job offers and vendor management. Main skill sets of candidates provided for employers were IT SW/HW engineers including Business Analysts and Program/Project Managers. We also hired higher level candidates including Directors and CIOs. I am a big believer in meeting the candidates we represent, as well as the Managers we support and spent extensive time networking with potential candidates, existing contract employees and hiring managers to get to know people through referrals and past positive experiences.

My career started off as a Sr. Programmer. I developed products in Java environments. Then I moved to a Technical Resource Manager and my responsibilities included management of internal recruiters, processes and procedures, reallocation of resources, consultant interactions on a daily basis, client management and managed over 150 IT consultants. Skill sets of candidates of the candidates we provided were mainly IT consultants with Software and Hardware computer experience. This included Networking Admin, desktop/laptop support tech, QA specialists, SW developers (Client Server, Web developers and Mainframe), Business Analysts and Project Managers.I was the final decision maker for direct-hire consultants with Compuware for contract only basis within our clients.
