Analysis of USEPA National Air Toxics Assessment and public school datasets for cancer and respiratory risks in the United States using SPSS and ArcGIS software programs. This research gained attention for finding 48217 to be one of the most polluted zip codes in Michigan.

Through the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystem Research and Old Woman Creek Research Reserve, this work focused on assessing Great Lakes basin needs for long-term adaptation planning in coastal communities and conducting a regional training needs assessment of natural resource managers and planning professionals.
