Fresh Corners Project Coordinator

-Overhauling and redeveloping the Fresh Corners program, including rewriting all programmatic guidelines, resource guides, Memorandums of Understanding, and other materials-Developing and implementing a local produce sourcing program, including coordinating twice-weekly cooperative purchasing from local farmers for corner stores in the Fresh Corners network-Developing and maintaining data tracking systems for the Fresh Corners program-Managing and keeping records related to produce sales and spoilage and helping stores minimize product waste-Ensuring store compliance with data collection and other program requirements through quarterly meetings and action plans for stores not in compliance-Creating and maintaining a mapping system and criteria used to strategically identify and recruit corner store partners, with a focus on traditionally underserved areas-Building positive and respectful cross-cultural relationships with grassroots organizations and leaders in each Fresh Corners community-Advocating for policies that increase food access and food security at the city, county, state, and federal levels-Public speaking and testimonies as part of policy advocacy-Conducting training webinars on sourcing methods for other healthy corner store programs
