Taking her passion for business economics and her considerable experience in the visitor attractions sector Dawn is embarking on a new venture providing bespoke business analysis and advisory services on a freelance contract basis. Having been involved in multiple high level projects within the UK and MENA regions since 2011; including heritage sector, family attractions, national organisations and national museum projects, Dawn has proven herself to have a keen eye for detail and a scientific approach to solving the complex issues faced by business operators. Well-read on the current leisure sector trends and tourism behaviours, Dawn is well placed to offer relevant and well-referenced advice based on up to date knowledge and experience.Living in rural South Oxfordshire with her two children and husband, Dawn has a keen interest in all-things health, fitness and wellbeing with a particular love of being outdoors, whether it be skiing, riding, running or walking. Dawn enjoyed 8 years working for Vision XS as a leisure advisor specialising in visitor attractions spanning the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and MENA regions. Working alongside Tony Sefton, Dawn honed her skills and completed an intensive 2-year project-based training programme, learning how to create bespoke financial models, detailed business plans and concepts for some of the UK’s most recognisable visitor attractions. Using her eye for detail and passion for quality data, Dawn developed her own finesse for balancing the economic and social objectives of clients with visitor experience design to deliver a holistic final product, capable of exceeding clients expectations, demonstrating the financial capabilities of a business and ensuring visitors leave having had the best possible time for the best possible perceived value for money.
