Advise and support New York City's Chief Climate Officer, coordinating the City's climate and resilience policy out of City Hall. Co-lead the Mayor's Interagency Task Force on Electric Micromobility, coordinating 15+ agencies developing leading-edge policy to promote safe electric micromobility. Serve as City Hall's electric vehicle policy lead, developing consensus around the new Administration's priorities for electric vehicles and supporting policy implementation. Led development of the sustainable transportation initiatives in PlaNYC, the Administration's first climate and resiliency plan, working with agencies to develop creative policy in a budget-constrained environment. Support teams implementing Local Law 97, New York City's ambitious law to reduce emissions from large private- and public-sector buildings.

Supported the Mayor's Chief of Staff at the launch of a new Mayoral administration, building a team and processes to align with our vision and priorities. Oversaw the Mayor's Office of Operations and the Mayor's Office of Administrative Services. Developed consensus within the Administration to take a new direction for addressing the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, an aging highway that has divided neighborhoods. This enabled the City to avoid the neighborhood impacts and expense of a $400 million temporary solution, instead moving directly towards an achievable and visionary long-term plan for addressing the highway.

Coord was a curb management technology startup that spun out of Alphabet's Sidewalk Labs.My key accomplishment was co-designing Smart Zones, the industry-leading digital truck loading zone management program. I recruited four cities to partner to launch pilots on-time, and on-budget, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, creating the playbook for successful deployments. I led the policy and programs functions, developing innovative programs combining technology and policy to address congestion and promote safety. I oversaw pilot program deployment, planning and operations.I led the public-sector partnerships function, identifying, onboarding, and retaining partnerships with city governments. I partnered with cities to engage private-sector partners, such as fleets, to participate in our programs.Communications was a key part of my responsibility. I oversaw content and strategy to position Coord as an industry leader. I led media and stakeholder engagement, and for part of my tenure oversaw marketing, PR, and social media functions

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission is the City agency charged with regulating and developing policy surrounding the taxicabs, ride-hailing services and other for-hire vehicles that transport more than a million people each day. The agency focuses on promoting safety, consumer protection, access and accountability in the industries it oversees, broadening all New Yorkers' options for maintaining high levels of mobility without private automobile ownership.As Chief of Staff my responsibilities included advising the Commissioner on policy and operational issues, strategic communications, strategic planning, management of priority agency initiatives, and stakeholder relations. Major projects included the Vision Zero traffic safety initiative, expanding access to service for people with disabilities, congestion policy, driver income policy, and policy development surrounding the use of new mobile technologies in the NYC for-hire industry.

I worked at RPA assisting with planning, research, and public engagement processes while attending graduate school. My projects included:• A design guidebook highlighting redevelopment best practices and the implementation tools municipalities can employ to accommodate growth while creating high-quality communities. • Research and data analysis in support of Long Island 2035 Regional Visioning Process.• Planning support for the Lynbrook Downtown Land Use Plan, including conducting stakeholder interviews, quantifying the impacts of various development scenarios, analyzing existing zoning and land use, and helping develop a strategy for downtown revitalization.

As a Research Assistant and then a Research Associate, my primary responsibilities were:• Data analysis: Conduct quantitative data analysis using SAS and Stata statistical programming languages and Excel. We used my results in policy analyses and program evaluations disseminated to the health policy community to inform policymaking pertaining to Medicaid, other low-income health programs, and the uninsured. • Data management: Manage two large Medicaid datasets and serve as consultant to senior researchers using these data. • Qualitative research support: Conduct literature reviews, organize site visits, conduct expert interviews, and assist with projects undergoing the IRB process.• Writing: Co-authored several published reports, including two published in peer-reviewed journals.
