 Research, review, and select peer-reviewed new titles to order for the nonfiction collection. Interact and engage with patrons while answering their reference questions on subjects such as music, art, law, psychology, education, home economics, and medicine. Prepare a vibrant display of library materials to pique the interest of students and encourage them to inquire further into the subject matter. Create and teach the monthly adult craft programs to an average of 20 attendees per class. Invites and schedules guest presenters from the local business on relevant community on topics. Supervises pages and clerical assistant in the absence of an immediate supervisor. Responds to questions via email regarding references, programming, and departmental inquiries. Orders and weeds books in collection development regarding specific Dewey categories.

 Shelf materials, check-in and out books, assist patrons with reader’s advisory, and make them aware of materials through Apollo and Melcat. Assist patrons needing to place a fax, scan material, make copies, use the computers, or use the microfilm machine, process magazines and other materials. Designated leader in charge of the building in absence of the director.

 Developed strategies to teach the course content such as instructional objectives, textbooks, assignments, grades and delivery methods. Performs the tasks of designing test and assignments to conform to the objectives of the Curriculum Guide. Handles the tasks of organizing, preparing, and revising all the teaching course materials.
