I have more than 14 years of experience in law enforcement and workforce development, and I am currently an outreach and recruitment specialist at Hampton Roads Workforce Council (HRWC). I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges and achieve their potential, and I hold certifications in crisis intervention and mental health.At HRWC, I provide outreach and recruitment services to individuals and groups who face barriers to employment, such as veterans, ex-offenders, homeless, and low-income populations. I collaborate with various community partners, to identify, engage, and refer potential candidates for the HRWC's programs and services. I also facilitate workshops, presentations, and events to promote the HRWC's brand and opportunities, and to educate and inspire the target audiences.
