I lead companies and investors through significant business inflection points - typically around growth, turnaround and exit. I am the person brought in when there is complexity, uncertainty, and/or a new direction the company wants to go in, but isn't quite sure what they should do. Working with leadership I get up-to-speed quickly, assess the current situation, figure out a course of action and a plan to move forward and make it happen. For over 20 years, as a VC, board member and through several instances of being the first non-founding executive, as CEO or COO, I’ve directly scaled up, scaled down, invested in, shut down and bought and sold tech startups. I have played pivotal roles in orchestrating over $1 billion in corporate transactions—including IPOs, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and fundraising efforts.I also have significant experience in all areas of venture capital investment management including evaluating companies and markets, getting the deal done, helping companies grow, fundraise and exit, and managing the downside.I currently advise high growth technology startups and scaleups, predominantly in climate tech.
