Greetings! I am Dawson Alexander and I am 8th Semester Chemical Engineering Student at Penn State - University Park and I will be Graduating in December of 2023. I had a Co-Op experience at The Chemours Company on their Lithium Ion Battery Technology Team in Newark, Delaware. Chemours is a leader in manufacturing advanced materials such as Teflon™ fluoropolymers, Krytox™ performance lubricants, Nafion™ membranes,  Viton™ fluoroelastomers. During the summer I had an internship in Albany, New York working with Ardent Mills as an Operations Intern. Ardent Mills is the largest supplier of wheat flour in the United States producing 1/3 of the wheat flour and 60% of the whole grains. Previously, I held the position of Governor for the Pennsylvania District of Circle K International where my team developed emerging leaders and piloted district-wide initiatives. Circle K International is the largest colligate service organization in the world making a difference on campuses and communities across the globe with through service and leadership. I interested in the Food and Beverage Industry, Chemical Industry, or Energy Industry. I am actively seeking a full-time role starting as soon as January 2024. In my free-time like to play card games, board games, listen to music, weightlift, hike, kayak, and cook. As a young Engineer I am always interested to hear about new opportunities, ideas, and roles within the industry so feel free to connect with me.
