I am a CySA+, CrowdStrike Certified Administrator, Responder, and Hunter and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, currently working as a Security Engineer at Netsmart Technologies. My primary responsibilities include managing our email security platforms and leveraging Prisma Cloud to identify security issues in our AWS environments and collaborating with various teams to remediate these findings. Additionally, I work on Incident Response efforts and AWS security projects. I also work to develop custom detections for our endpoint protection solutions, oversee a range of daily operational tasks, and mentor newer team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in security practices and tools.As an advocate for cybersecurity education and growth, I volunteer with CyberPatriot as a technical mentor where, I support the next generation of cybersecurity talent, and helping them understand systems security, network defense, and Cisco Networking. Additionally, I provide guidance to EnterpriseKC, supporting their mission to advance cybersecurity across Kansas and Missouri, while serving as a technical mentor at Capture the Flag competitions and other events they host, helping cultivate talent and drive innovation. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2022 with a 4.0 GPA and a Bachelors in Cyber Security emphasizing in Cyber Operations with a minor in Business Administration. During high school I attended Summit Technology Academy from 2018 - 2022 where I was a part of the Network Engineering and Cyber Security programs and obtained my CCENT certifications as well as prepared for the CCNA exam.
