Senior Treasury Operations Associate
CurrentI provide leadership for the treasury team, managing relationships with 40 banking partners and overseeing 750+ bank accounts. My responsibilities include monitoring deposit and loan balances, staying informed on financial news and bank stock prices, and implementing strategies to optimize cash management, generate income from deposits, mitigate financial risks, and maintain loan-based depository commitments.I oversee the establishment of new bank accounts, serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and external banking or lending partners. This includes submitting initial account requests, providing due diligence documentation, coordinating signatures, implementing treasury services, and facilitating internal communications. Additionally, I manage the setup and maintenance of bank account information within Yardi and ensure seamless collaboration with other NorthPoint teams, including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Working Capital, Corporate Accounting, and Real Estate Accounting, to address ad hoc treasury banking requests.I also work closely with the debt team to prepare for loan closings, coordinate account openings, facilitate wire transfers, and manage key communications. Furthermore, I serve as an online banking administrator, review and approve EFT requests, and ensure compliance with dual control and fraud diligence measures.
