Jon is Head of Sectors & Markets at HaysMac. He specialises in the media, marketing and advertising, and technology subsector. Jon trained and qualified with HaysMac, and now leads our specialist sector and market teams, shaping our strategic approach to market engagement and growth. In his role as Head of Sectors & Markets, Jon also contributes to the overall direction and operations of the firm, ensuring our market positioning aligns seamlessly with our firmwide objectives.With extensive experience working with entrepreneurial, scale-up businesses, Jon understands the importance of regular communication backed by strong, sector-specific technical expertise. He is the engagement lead for many of the firm’s listed clients, with a primary focus on audit and transactional advisory services for businesses quoted on AIM.Jon works closely with clients as they go through a period of change, whether that be rapid growth, fundraising or an exit. He enjoys advising his clients throughout their journey and works with many of the firm’s media, marketing and advertising, and technology clients, ranging from privately-owned companies to publicly listed groups.A father of two young children, Jon enjoys spending time with his family outside work. He is also a keen sportsman, and enjoys running, cycling, skiing, rugby and golf – both as a participant and spectator.
