Since co-founding POWR (Perspective Optimized for World Readiness) in 2020, Dax Brooks has been the visionary and driving force behind both POWR's financial literacy program that empowers BIPOC transitional aged youth, and his flagship achievement, Xage1, the full-stack, Interactive Management System (IMS) platform that POWR's literacy program runs on. With Xage1's cutting-edge platform underpinning the effort, Dax envisions POWR scaling its program to over 150,000 US youth by year 2030.Prior to co-creating POWR, Dax had a prolific career in the entertainment industry as a film editor and music producer, having worked on high-grossing projects for renowned companies such as Universal Pictures, Fox Searchlight, and Nickelodeon. His love of media combined with a lifelong desire to create new opportunities for young people of color, led to the concept of POWR, and subsequently, Xage1. Dax values hard work and service to others, and has a deep passion for music, film, health, and travel. His humility and dedication are evident in all of his endeavors, driving him to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those he reaches.
