About Dax Coan

Four time startup founder. First feet on the ground in each organization, growing each company from the first code commit through to successful exits (2 strategic buyers and 2 private equity buyers). Three of the four companies were bootstrapped and one was venture-backed. Most recent projects, Permitium and Scribbles, are currently used by millions of consumers, students, and families each year. I remain a shareholder in both organizations.Currently taking a break from full-time status to decompress a bit, enjoy my kayak, and dive deeper into new technology that interests me. Very blessed.
