As a young CEO, I raised capital from blue-chip investors, led cross-functional teams through product development, and negotiated strategic partnerships before merging the business with a competitor. From there, I joined AES Energy Storage, where I built the sales engineering function and sold some of the world’s first lithium-ion energy storage systems.When AES and Siemens merged their energy storage divisions to create Fluence, I was tasked with leading global technical sales and project execution. In this role, I grew the business from $50 million to $500 million in revenue within two years, ultimately positioning Fluence for a $4.7 billion IPO (NASDAQ: FLNC).Throughout my career, I’ve led teams to sell and deliver 100+ energy storage projects across 15 countries, scaling revenue under my responsibility from $50M to more than $1.6 billion annually. These experiences gave me a rare, end-to-end understanding of the global energy storage industry.I understand how difficult it is to scale a business in a competitive and rapidly evolving space.
