Senior Bi/Application Engineer / Sql Developer / Azure Data Brick Developer

Current

New Haven, Connecticut, United States

● Working with YNHH. I was managing big project like (TOC) Transition of care, Provider Roster. Where I need to make whole process from manual to automated using the Integration services and created various Tableau dashboard reports so they can run those reports on demand and see how their number looks like.● I was also involved in the performance optimization of the processes where I had to dig in the SQL, SSIS and Reports like SAP BOE Web Intelligent, Tableau, Slicer Dicer and Power BI find out where performance can be improved and make change and do the deliverables. So business have their decision making process on demand.

Dec 2017 - Present

● Used Data Stage to load the files from various Rating Agency sources like Fitch, Moody’s and S&P to CDO database Writing many user defined functions, stored procedures and triggers to do relational Database development using TSQL. Gather requirements from the business and built reports for their clients using SSRS, QlikView and SAP Crystal Report● Supported Classic ASP pages with new upgrades and wrote many complex SQL stored procedures and used them in the ASP instead of embedded SQL to prevent SQL Injection Attack● Converted many FTP loads to SFTP for security purpose with closely working with networking teams and top-level management● Very good understanding of data modeling OLTP as well as OLAP

May 2017 - Nov 2017

Bi Developer/ Azure /Aws

Baltimore, Maryland, United States

● I was involved in creating brand new process that loads data from third party vendor system and loads them into staging periodically using SSIS and inbuilt FTP loader into staging environment. Cleaning those data properly and finally load them into data warehouse so quantitative research people access them using reports that I’ve built some in SSRS and few of them in QlikView. ● Was helping them to do migration from on premises SQL server to Azure cloud for POC in order to see the processing data time difference between those two systems. ● Spined new EC2 instance on AWS with correct security groups in IAM. So the various teams in fixed income IT can utilize them and be more productive.● I’ve managed Barclays POINT to Bloomberg PORT conversion project to make sure everything will be lined up properly so our analytics team will not have any problems to make their decisions. For that I’ve created parallel process that loads data into SQL server and created reports in QlikView so we can do comparisons in numbers between both systems.● Created various Risk and Attribution like Drill through, drilldown, sub-reports and parameterized reports using SSRS using Meta driven development.

Feb 2015 - Apr 2017

Sql / Etl Developer

Ibm Seterus Inc.

● I was part of the green field project. Where existing process were taking almost 7 to 10 hours of time to generate 2 files for business one is BTTC and another one is BNTC for call center so they use those files and do their operation daily. Some time it takes long so operation has to wait and that was impacting a business a lot. In order to improve the process I’ve got assigned to focus on the SQL objects and SSIS packages to see how much performance I can Gain to reduce time lines. ● To achieve that I started looking in to SSIS packages and remove all the blocking transformation that is used to slower the performance and tried to use as much as TSQL. Also I did performance tuning in TSQL that gained 50 % improvement in time and that reduce our process time from 7-10 hours to 2-4 hours.

Mar 2014 - Jan 2015

Sql Server/ Bi Developer

Iowa, United States

● Automated their process which manually sent files from users to DWH and then DWH team need to load their files and give them Error if there are some so they can aware of which data got loaded into DWH and which are not. So I automated that process with SSIS and SSRS. So user need to put their files into folder and run the SSRS report that SSRS report triggers SSIS and load them into DWH if there are any data issue it tells in SSRS what the issues are.● I was also involved in the process where they have existing SSAS multidimensional cube which are performing poorly so improved the performance by adding more partitions and change the model using data source view. And then also wrote the MDX to report that cube data. We also had some tabular cube where we had to make some model change for the business. SO I’ve used some DAX to add new measure in existing tabular model.
