CurrentRecruited back to manage the demand process and supply chain for the crown jewel Rainbow Light® brand (125+ SKU’s). Accountable for planning, process improvement, inventory management, fulfillment and warehousing, scheduling and sourcing to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets at minimum operating cost and optimum stock levels. ➢ Created a formal planning process by determining the model that is most appropriate for each SKU based on velocity. ➢ Set forecast variance tolerance by SKU; report actual versus goal on a monthly basis and worked with Sales to root cause and countermeasure results above tolerance. ➢ Managed end to end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across multiple categories to improve customer service levels and to reduce end-to-end COGS and working capital. ➢ Establish robust demand forecasts by utilizing relevant statistical tools and sales information including planned sales orders, customer contracts, intercompany standing orders, promotional activity, seasonality, brand changes, etc. ➢ Lead monthly demand alignment meetings and win consensus with department leaders. Partner with the sales team for demand planning meetings to present findings to our core customers. Select Accomplishments:➢ Improved Private label fill rate from 78% to 96% by partnering with the production and purchasing teams to expedite orders. ➢ Created new supply plans with suppliers that improved Forecast Accuracy from 55% to 68%. ➢ Identified bottlenecks and established a plan to eliminate excess goods for Private label inventory saving $700k FY/18. ➢ Analyzed and validated inventory forecast bias to achieve 2% below financial budget target and volume plan initiatives. ➢ Reduced Rainbow Light bias from 150% to 115% by tracking weekly/KPIs to identify contributing factors and adjust the necessary item and/or DC levels.
