I decided to venture into the field of Massage Therapy because I experienced first hand a few of the many different benefits it brings. My grandmother suffers from Polymyalgia. I have watched massage bring so much relief from pain, rest from physical and mental stress and peace to her entire body. This is priceless.I have personally benefited from massage as well. It has helped with my neck pain, low back pain (from volleyball injuries), and constantly reminds me to "just breathe" when I am giving or receiving a massage.
