Having been entranced by the power of visuals, Eugene is an aspiring cinematographer, whose passion extends all around the world of filmmaking. Hoping to one day progress and branch out into other fields of filmmaking, Eugene is an individual who does not feel confined to a singular role, but instead seeks to break away from stagnation.Originally from School of Science and Technology, Singapore, Eugene had humble beginnings in the industry of filmmaking. His exposure to a film module that he took sparked a growing interest in him about the art of filmmaking. With the curiosity in him, Eugene set off to the internet to discover more about the new and seemingly foreign world of filmmaking, through the various online resources available to him.Eugene is currently pursuing film studies in the Digital Film & Television course in Temasek Polytechnic. Frequently invited to some of his senior's project shoots, Eugene accepts a plethora of roles to get a holistic understanding of the industry, and while doing, gets quality experiences and expands his networking circles.In the near future, Eugene hopes to extend the art of films as not only a medium of expression, but also to connect with others. Eugene hopes to incorporate themes that not only serve to help others in terms of entertainment, but also as means of raising awareness of their state and causes. Eugene also hopes to be able to infuse clear morality, meaning, and motive into his films, something which he feels many films nowadays are compromising on.A sociable person, Eugene is amiable and caring. Eugene is a selfless person who thinks of others. Cooperation is close to Eugene's heart, as he is able to work closely and well with his peers.
