CurrentAs a network engineer at Dandemutande, I have the following responsibilities,• Successfully collaborated with multiple third-party vendors to deploy and manage the LTE infrastructure across 30 different sites, resulting in improved network performance and an uptake of 2500 additional customers in 2 years.• Designed and implemented secure, scalable, and high-performance networks for international customers by introducing wireless and DWDM solutions in conjunction with OSPF and BGP into the core network which increased their uptime from 92% to 99%.• Supporting and troubleshooting network devices, including Cisco routers, switches, Fortinet firewalls, F5ad balancers, and WAN optimization appliances for 600 customers.• Developed network automation scripts using Ansible which enabled faster provisioning of customer services and reduced service-affecting configuration errors, contributing to about 80% of the network outages.• Performed monthly network assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to mitigate risks.• Responsible for monitoring network performance and availability using SolarWinds, MRTG, Libre NMS, Nagios, and other tools, and took proactive measures to prevent or resolve issues.• Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security engineers, application developers, and project managers, to deliver network solutions that meet business requirements.• Delivered 10 hours of training sessions to junior engineers every quarter which increase team cohesion.• Recommended and deployed a bandwidth manager which reduced client bandwidth misconfigurations saving 10% of annual revenue.
