As Director of Special Programs, I oversee the Special Education program, the Section 504 program, Dyslexia program, English as a Second Language Program. I serve as the lead trainer for our district's campus crisis intervention teams and am certified trainer for our district in the Handle With Care Behavior Management System. I also serve the district and community as the Homeless Liaison and as the Title IX Coordinator.I hold certifications from the Texas State Board of Eductors in the following areas: English, Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, Principal, and Superintendent. My passion is working with students with behavior disorders and helping teachers discover effective strategies that lead to the academic, social, and behavioral success of all students.
