My name is Dayne Moore and I am a confident, enthusiastic and dynamic young man from Dumfries and Galloway in South-West Scotland. I am currently completing my Honours Degree in BA Applied Enterprise at the University of the West of Scotland, Dumfries campus. Here I have been able to develop my skills and can now class myself as Proactive, Self-Motivated and often show Initiative when I can. As well as my studies I also work for veterinary supply company Henry Schein Animal Health and sports provider Let’s Get Sporty. Throughout my time at University and during employment I have been able to develop a number of skills and attributes that will allow me to be as employable as possible. These skills can range from confidence in my own abilities to planning and implementing research projects. My time at University has allowed me to gain experience in business start-up, Human Resources, marketing, research projects and entrepreneurship. These skills can be added to the knowledge I have of the sports sector from my HND in Fitness Health and Exercise.   Let's Get Sporty is a not for profit social enterprise based in Dumfries and Galloway. We provide young people with training, mentoring and employment opportunities through the delivery of sport and physical activity.We deliver after school sessions, birthday parties and holiday camps. We also have a fantastic 'Hire a Coach' service that not only supports local communities but schools and across Dumfries and Galloway. On top of that we also have our trainee programme which is that the heart of Let's Get Sporty.
