My position covers organising, designing, programming and managing control system projects, as well as onsite commissioning. My role actively involves the following operations:1. Project Management of Electrical and Control Systems Projects2. Control Systems design including equipment and instrumentation specifications3. Programming of Shiploaders, Bargeloaders, Stackers, Reclaimers and Conveyors using Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC5, ControlLogix, SLC500, Schneider Modicon & Quantum PLC, Siemens Step7.4. Commissioning of yard machines and conveyors.5. Design of SIL rated safety systems6. Development of SCADA systems including Citect SCADA, Clear SCADA, InTouch Wonderware7. Development of Water Management Systems8. Development of Stockpile Management Systems9. Development of Train Loadout Systems10. Configuration and commissioning of Variable Speed Drives (VSD) including Rockwell Powerflex and ABB Drives11. Designs and Developments using RSLogix5000, Unity Pro and GE Proficy.

My Role actively involved the following responsibilities:1. Programming of controls for a high voltage substation2. Designing and programming of a train speed indicator3. Implementation of a 20km wide area network (WAN)4. Implementation of Environmental monitoring telemetry system5. Design of SCADA projects including Citect SCADA, Factory Talk and RSView326. Implementation of SCADA systems7. Design, Programming and Implementation of Train Load Out systems

I was involved in designing SCADA screens, implementing the SCADA object, linking the object to the host server, linking the host to the database servers including Oracle and SQL Server, coordinating the communication protocols and addresses, including address allocations, using mapping software to determine the appropriate radio node for a site to communicate on, setting up the link addresses for radio communications, configuring RTUs, Factory Acceptance Testing, Commissioning and Fault Diagnosis.

I was tasked with setting up interface between OPC (OLE for Process Control) for PLC and SCADA Systems. In addition, I was required to setup Matrikon Alarm Manager and Reporting systems.
