The Great Oaks Fellowship is a diverse group of recent college graduates with a variety of backgrounds and interests. Some fellows are interested in education policy and wish to experience life on the ground in an urban school. Others plan to pursue a career in medicine, law or to enroll in another graduate program and wish to first give a year of service. For fellows who wish to become high-performing teachers, Great Oaks Fellowship offers multiple pathways to certification.

In this position tasks include hiring and keeping contact with desk staff. This position allows me to lead a staff and a building to ensure security and functionality. I also mandate staff meetings and enforce rules according to our policy.

As a resident assistant, it is my job to provide residents with a safe space and access to beneficial resources. As I work closely with incoming students, it is my job to lead them and provide insight on how to be a successful student. With me living on the same floor as them, I was always at reach to help them with problems or issues. Similar to my position as a sales associate at Ann Taylor, my job was to help women find the right clothes for them. With LOFT being more casual, I was able to create styles for everyone!
