Growing up, I was always considered a late bloomer: I learned how to walk late, talk late (I even stuttered for a while), write late and the list goes on. However, I did have two skills that formed the basis of my professional success: I observed and I analyzed. Observing allowed me to take a step back and be patient with myself while shadowing those that I idolize. Analyzing helped me to garner and process my learnings and contextualize them whenever and wherever suitable.As years went by, I have come a long way from learning to write my own name. I began my career as a treasury analyst, overseeing millions of dollars of money market transactions in the emerging markets sector. From then on, I worked as a product associate in an enterprise communication startup, focusing on system inspection and finding bugs. For the best two and half years, I have been working closely with 1000+ enterprise and SME clients, helping them drive growth through tech-enabled transformation. When I'm not working with decision makers in the IT industry, I tutor high school and college students in French, Economics and piano, co-instruct yoga and pilates, and translate for Khan Academy and UN Women. Each milestone I celebrated has been a reflection on my drive for observing and analyzing. I am thankful for not only myself but also every single mentor, friend and trusted guardian who led by example.
