I have spent a large portion of my life learning different skills that have turned me into the man that I am today. From a very young age, the importance of hard work has been instilled in me. As a business owner, I am very grateful for this. Finding a hard worker in this day and age is extremely difficult, and it is a skill that makes people irreplaceable. The importance of doing professional work, regardless of the scenario, has also been emphasized to me too. My dad always told me "do something correctly the first time, or don't do it at all." That is something that I have always tried to live by. I take pride in what I do and will always take ownership of what is mine. Another thing that I have had the privilege of learning is leadership skills. I have been blessed with these opportunities, as they have helped me learn about myself and what it takes to be a good leader. I have worked in the construction industry for most of my life, and I truly have an appreciation for it and the people who work in the field. They truly make the world go around. I have done everything from heavy equipment operation to bridge construction. I love the challenge of learning new things and seeing projects come together. For this reason, I have started my own landscaping company. I have been able to learn many different landscaping techniques that helps me build complete, beautiful yards.Aside from my experience in the construction industry, I have completed EMT courses, done apprenticeships for power and water companies, and served a mission for my church. All of these have helped me become a well rounded individual, and have taught me important lessons about life.
