I am managing and mentoring cross-skilled teams: Video, Mobile (iOS, Android) and Web platforms:* The Video team is building applications cross-platform applications for mobile, web, OOT device and engineering standardized multimedia solutions for Audio, Video on Demand, Live, 360 and VR videos for The New York Times. Built on a new stack using Go, Node.JS, React, * The Mobile team, is building our award-winning Android and iOS (Swift) apps and frameworks. * The Web platform team is making our next generation Web and Mobile Web apps using a new stack with NodeJS, ReactJS, GraphQL. This team is also responsible for our shared components implementation/strategy, Ads integration, build process and deployment strategy to other front-end feature teams to support a wide range of products internally and externally.I am a strong advocate of open source and since I joined my teams became major contributors to The New York Times open source initiatives, and we have open sourced several components of our applications.

My goal as a technical lead for the video team is delivering immersive video experiences. I am also building applications for emerging platforms like OOT devices and engineering standardized video solutions for Live, VOD and engaging multimedia experiences for The New York Times website.

Terra Networks is a subsidiary of Telefonica Digital, responsible for the Internet competence center of the group. Terra has a global presence and is, among a few media portals, the largest audience in Latin America.Responsibilities:* Tech lead responsible for the on London 2012 Olympic Games on video team. This project delivers live broadcast for 36 channels in HD with PIP, match and player statics, DVR and multi bitrates on many platforms such as PCs, Smartphones and connected devices like Smart TVs and Roku. We a spike of 122 million video streaming during the event, and more than 170 thousand simultaneous users.* Team Lead responsible for media distribution and encoding on Pan American Games - Guadalajara 2011. Live broadcast with 14 channels in HD with PIP(Picture in Picture), multi bitrates and on demand content. That handled more than 50 thousand simultaneous users and 6 millions of video requests during the event.* Infrastructure and development of media distribution, for stream transmission live the Planeta Terra festival 2010/2011 using Wowza Media Server on 4 video channels, using HD, Dynamic Stream and supporting PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android and BB.The new video player for Terra was built in three versions FLASH/HTML5 and SILVERLIGHT to support a broad range of formats that we had back in the day and to enable a fully cross-platform video experience for our users.* Tech lead responsible for the video transmission of the Paul McCartney concert live for PC, MAC, iOS, Android and BlackBerry on special website of sonora livehttp://musica.terra.com.br/sonora-live/paul-mccartney-brasil/show-ao-vivo/* Tech lead responsible for the Audio transmission of the U2 (360º Tour - Brazil) concert live for PC, MAC, Tablets and SmartPhones on special website of sonora live.* Tech lead responsible for the Encoding profile optimization and DRM.* Managing third-party employees;* Scrum mentoring.
