Electrical/Computer Engineering:● Seven years experience with the USAF A-10 Warthog.● Developed Form Fit Function (FFF) replacement card assemblies for the Electronic Warfare training Mini-MUTES. ● Developed a prototype of the next generation Combined Armament Tester (CAT) for the A-10C Warthog. ● Developed a prototype hand-held test set to replace aging legacy Windshield Anti-Fog/Anti-Ice test set.● Designed digital display replacements for legacy CRT target acquisition displays. ● Redesigned the SBC for the A-10 Turbine Engine Monitoring System (TEMS). Software Development: ● Developed a windows application to download and review turbine engine performance. ● Used IBM Rational Rhapsody to develop a UML framework and auto generate classes. ● Developed software to isolate component failures within the AIM-9 (Sidewinder) missile system on the A-10C aircraft.● Used schematics, data sheets, and analog simulations to determine failure modes of individual circuit card assemblies. ● Upgraded circuit level and box level tester for the A-10 Integrated Flight and Fire Control Computer (IFFCC). This effort increased aircraft availability and saved an estimated $100k per unit returned inoperative.Project Management: ● Successfully marketed, proposed, and awarded firm fixed price government production contract. ● Managed a 10+ person project teams consisting of mixed discipline engineers, technicians, and contractors. ● Developed a technique to streamline the production process using sub-assembly milestones resulting in significant contract savings. ● Completed, tested, and delivered all units on a tight 6 month schedule.● Managed $1M+ portable automated test platform proof of concept design, development, and demonstration effort. ● Managed subcontracts, scheduling, Earned Value reporting, engineering team, and budgeting. ● Interfaced with customer to report contract progress and financials.
