Brief Career History In 2021, after an amazing four-year tenure at Bank of the West my continuous drive for excellence did not go unnoticed. Opendoor, an avant-garde fintech, approached me due to referrals from previous colleagues to spearhead a pivotal shift in their mortgage operations. It was a tough career decision to make leaving the small regional bank where I rebuilt a customer centric culture and successfully steered the operations transition from paper based to digital operations resulting in the highest survey scores and fundings in bank history.While I was excited about diving deep into the disruptor space, I remained apprehensive about Opendoor's corporate landscape. Nonetheless, reassurances about their commitment to the mortgage business, and the opportunities of the cutting edge fintech space, led me to join as the Head of Operations. There, I championed a high-performance culture, learning and innovating outside the conventional banking parameters. Within three months we achieved the highest survey scores and third highest fundings in company history. Although my tenure at Opendoor was brief due to strategic business shifts, I left a mark with historic survey scores and significant funding achievements. However, the ever-evolving landscape of the mortgage industry meant Opendoor would close its mortgage lending operations for good and send me looking for my next opportunity. 2023 saw me diversifying into exciting avenues – learning how to trade stocks, futures and options and taking time to pursue a passion project, professional DJ'ing. These experiences only solidified my core belief: the power of genuine connection. Whether it's designing a new strategy or aligning individual roles with a grand vision & mission, I've consistently made an impact by tethering the 'why' to every endeavor.Navigating high-intensity scenarios is where I thrive.
