Commissioned by Huawei Hungary – establishing the Huawei’s Hungarian retail presence from the ground up from finding- and negotiating retail spaces all the way through recruiting store staff, managing teams to designing and executing marketing strategies, managing P&L to achieve growth and gain market share.

As the direct result of the success at IRD Hungary Ltd in the previous role Bravophone and IRD Group established the IRD-Bravo joint-venture to take the mobile division to the next level (mainly Huawei, Lenovo and Honor) by paring up the exceptional results and market knowledge gained at IRD Hungary with Bravophone’s well established background and resources. As a direct result of my achievements my mobile business portfolio grew from $1.4M to €33.4M annual.

Established the Hungarian subsidiary of the Slovakian market leader mobile distribution group called IRD with an annual group revenue of €150M+ with 85% market share. My responsibilities involved establishment of the company, recruitment, negotiating exclusive distribution rights and commercials, developing business with leading telecom providers and retailers such as Vodafone, Telenor, MediaMarkt and Extreme Digital to name a few. As the first ever distributor in Hungary, IRD Hungary Ltd. gained open-market distribution rights for Huawei mobile phones in 2013 through my efforts. The mobile portfolio also included other brands such as Sony, ZTE, Motorola, Lenovo and LG.

Market leader IT distribution with 150M+ EUR revenue, 200+ employees and 120+ brandsCreating a brand new mobile division for the company involving researching new market opportunities and gaining distribution rights for new Asian manufacturers to the Hungarian market (i.e. HTC, Asus) involving several face-to-face negotiations in countries such as Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and China.

Hungarian subsidiary of a Hong-Kong based international IT distribution with around 20M EUR turnover.As an extension of the previous role my focus area became business development including the identification of international opportunities between Asia and Europe through close collaboration with my peers in Chine, Hong-Kong and Japan.

Started as an ASUS product manager my role quickly evolved into team leader through the growth success achieved within both the mobile category and IT end end point devices such as laptops.

Medium size IT distributor with 80 employee and 40M EUR turnover.Started as a trainee from University my achievements were identified in the first six month and got promoted to product manager involving the management of brands such as Belkin, Hitachi, Leadtek, Apacer, Hercules, Terratec and Thrustmaster.
