As a Recruitment and Training advisor I have a large but diverse position within The Belfry Hotel & Resort, having redesigned the Careers website alongside our marketing team I identified the importance of familiarity and taking our new recruits on a journey with us. The look and feel of the website is something that is echoed through our welcome pack, induction and all training that is delivered throughout the business to ensure that journey is followed. Recruitment Proudly having over 700 employees, it is my passion to bring fantastic talent into the resort. I recruit for all areas of the business from entry level to Director which includes….- Negotiating Online advertisement contracts - Managing recruitment agencies for both Casual and Permanent recruitment - Reducing the cost of recruitment to move this saved revenue into training and development- Advert / Job description writing and posting through various sites that are applicable to the role- Screening of all CV’s and liaising with up to thirty heads of department- Managing the expectation of candidate and department heads- Making contact with all applicable contacts and starting their journey with The Belfry.- Arranging all stages of interview and feedback- Interviewing all candidates face to face alongside the department manager to ensure a fair interview is given to all candidates- Job Offer’s and feedback to all candidates Training - Certified PPA Practitioner – Thomas international - World host trainer for Management 1st – Adapting the course for the business and delivering- World host training for Principles of customer service – Adapting the course for the business and delivering- Developing training courses to implement throughout the resort- Developing departmental induction books that champion our heritage and teach in a fun and interesting manner- Developing a Belfry management programme to create managers of tomorrow - Delivering company induction to all new starters
