Have you ever met a software developer who likes to write documentation? Well, that's about me.Being a technical writer allows me to combine the expertise gained during my studies and work as a backend programmer with a passion for writing detailed and well-structured texts. I like to dig into the software code and describe its functionality for users with clear language. In my work, I use the docs-as-code approach and such tools as Antora and AsciiDoc.Since last year I've also been a team leader of up to 7 writers and combined writing articles with people management. Not all of our writers have the programming experience. However, they are able to deploy and configure software and perform all those steps that will eventually get into the documentation. I think it’s the basic skill of a good technical writer - to be a bit of a tester and gradually become an expert within their product. I really love my job, and I would be glad to meet people who have the same passion for writing technical documentation.
