Douglas Bell is a VP of Radio and Operations at WABE. He possess expertise in video editing, editing, video production, final cut pro, video and 23 more skills. He is a jack of all trades doing everything from creating a file sharing system from scratch without any funding to developing a $200,000 television studio renovation. Never have I seen anyone accomplish so much in one year as Douglas. He is the reason that ATV has been able to function for the past six years because of his hard work, can do attitude, and refusal to give up. Besides being an overwhelmingly talented general manager, Douglas is an incredible educator. He is patient and willing to take the time to teach even the most novice person complex concepts, skills, and techniques. Douglas is responsible for transforming ATV into both a welcoming and high functioning environment for students exploring careers in television and media. In his one year as general manager, Douglas took a tiny, unrecognizable student television station and made it recognizable in not only the AU, but the DC community. I have nothing but good things to say about Douglas and am honored to have called myself his colleague.
