I am a passionate mechanical engineer with a strong interest in mechanical design and project management. Since obtaining my degree I have developed a diverse set of skills which have been paramount in allowing me to take sole responsibility for providing clients with complete design solutions and product certifications. I have become proficient in a number of state of the art engineering design tools including Solidworks (CAD & Simulation), ABAQUS FEA and ANSYS CFD. Using these software packages, I am able to help clients take their products and ideas to market, thereby accounting for all stages of the product development cycle.I am a highly motivated engineer that thrives on tackling new challenges. My ability to develop and maintain customer relationships has also proved useful in my current role where we consistently see return clients requiring further engineering services. Some of my current skills and achievements include:1. Development of dimension driven, scalable models in Solidworks to decrease CAD time and increase productivity.2. Managing and controlling a range of projects for multiple clients ensuring objectives are achieved within budget and timeframe.3. Capabilities in utilising ANSYS Computational Fluid Dynamics software to analyse fluid flow through pipes, aerodynamic forces on exposed structures, vehicle aerodynamics and heat transfer problems.4. Product design, analysis and development using ABAQUS FEA software including plastic and sheet metal parts. 5. Conducting Coupled Physics analysis using CFD and FEA. This method is useful for conducting more accurate analyses requiring both fluid flow and stress analysis.6. Production of customised Marketing Videos and renders for clients in order to assist in product marketing and boosting exposure.
