Bactrac Technologies LLC and its subsidary Premetco established itself as a international chemical-metallurgical enterprise to process primary, secondary and waste resources bearing base and precious metals. With operations based in Atlanta, Georgia, the company’s primary function is to provide engineering, manufacturing, procurement and non-destructive field testing services, primarily to mining, petroleum and process industries.Bactrac specializes in rapid customized on-site inspections worldwide, our services are seamlessly integrated with the customers' operations and schedule to fulfill any inspection needs for assessment, maintenance, repair, or modification of structures, systems, or materials. The company’s operational focus rapidly changed to providing engineering and technical services to the mining community. What began as site visits, due diligence and feasibility studies rapidly evolved into full project management.One of the key elements was the ability to rapidly assemble a project management team that offers an uncompromising dedication to quality. The project department heads are experienced in the procedures and practices of their specific disciplines. They administer all contract provisions, regulatory and safety requirements, control costs, and coordinate construction schedules with the site manager to ensure the on-time, on-budget completion of a project. Current operations are focused in the former Soviet Republics in Central Asia and throughout Africa. They involve the use of very creative proprietary technologies to extract precious and base metals from complex ores that are difficult to treat conventionally. These technologies are also involved in the extraction of metal from low concentration polymetallic tailings and the conversion of copper wastes into valuable copper salts.

Premetco specializes in the mining, acquisition and marketing of precious metals. Original operations consisted of precious metal (primarily gold) investigations and acquisitions for several private investors. The initial focus was in the former Warsaw Bloc countries, former Soviet Republics and Africa. After the successful acquisition and exportation of gold bearing materials in Ghana from indigenous small-scale miners, the operation was expanded into the direct mining of gold bearing alluvial and hard-rock properties beginning with a 70 acre concession in Ghana’s Central Region near the town of Winneba. Over several years of operation, the size of the mining operation exceeded 2,000 acres with over 400 employees.

Originally engaged to perform a due diligence review of the company in December 1995, this project consisted of a precious metals mining operations within the boundaries of the Gallatin National Forest near Big Timber, Montana. A fully developed portal and adit had already been constructed with associated surface roads, loading facilities, power generation and other related infrastructure in place. A mill complex with a flotation and gravity recover circuit was also constructed approximately seventeen miles away, on private property near Interstate 95. The mill site also contained a laboratory and a pyrometallurgical recovery building with hydraulic tilt furnaces and a rotary roaster.After a change in investor apportionment and management structure, the company focus was solely directed to defining the calculated gold and platinum ore bodies. This was accomplished through the implementation of a surface-based diamond core drilling program. The main obstacle to starting the program was obtaining the required state and federal permits. Original estimates indicated a minimum nine-month to one year approval period. Through the use of an open company dialogue involving the United States Forest Service, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and several previously adversarial environmental special interest groups, the project approvals were obtained in a matter of weeks.As anticipated in Mr. Hurst’s original report, the assay results obtained from the diamond drilling operations did not support the geological assumptions by the previous operators. The recommendation was tendered to the shareholders that the project be terminated for lack of economic viability. Reclamation operations and bond recovery efforts were successfully completed in 1st quarter 2007.
